Blue Bungalow's director, Chiu, began her career by starting her own fashion agency specialising in beach, summer, lifestyle products, which she ran for fifteen years, coupled with living in Queensland and always holidaying on beaches. Naturally, Blue Bungalow was the next step with her business experience and personal interests.
After marketing and developing beach bags, hats and towels in ranges of cotton lifestyle clothing for numerous years and spending days on Noosa beach analysing beach bags, beach umbrellas and beach fashion, the idea of a beach lifestyle store seemed instinctive.
